I had the same experience.Word is a few teams wanted to draft him but he turned them down.

It's not just about talent but also money. That term "draft and stash" isn't far from the truth. Lottery picks that do sign right away get guaranteed money.I do think it's dumb when some of the players that are proven 4 year players and even all americans get drafted late on the 2nd rd and the foreign un proven players get lottery picks
Sounds about right. Ellis is the ultimate tweener. He might be able to stick on a roster as a role player somewhere but he's too small to be a legit PF and not athletic enough to be a wing that plays much. Being good in college isn't a guarantee of making the NBA.
Isn't Ellis also besieged with arthritis & recovering from a broken hip after falling in the shower?Once again the unfair and unjust NBA age-rules prevented a lad from realizing his dreams.... by preventing anybody under 19 or over 45 from entering through the draft, papa Ellis will instead be forced to the AARP-D League.

I was thrilled to see as many non-KU Big 12 players get drafted as there were. Draft results and tourney results for other Big 12 members is vital to continue to have the Big 12 viewed as an elite conference.Rewind two years.....wish I would have bet some KU Homer that Nader would get his name called before Seldom or Ellis.

He fell in the draft and can't get back up.
I think the old guy will be just fine.

I guess Perry Ellis must be coming out with a geezer line.
Is this serious? That is pretty awesome.
