I have all pop up ads disabled in chrome. Yet, when I come to this site, I often get 1 or 2 pop up ads as change pages. I've scanned my PC with malwarebytes and AVG and nothing was found. It only happens with this site.

Any ideas?

Same here... the popup is a zebo site. Only happens on my first click. Not a big issue. but weird

Yep. Same ad company for me. Usually first click when I go to change from the main page. Sometimes, when I click on the next page as well, I get a second. What I don't get is that pop ups are disabled. Somehow, these are getting past Chrome settings. I believe it is the site.

Not sure what it was that came up on mine? Looked like animation? I was just glad it wasn't porn.

Thanks for the heads up guys. This was a new ad code we put in on Friday, except I don't think it is acting right. I'm looking into the situation. Thanks.

Chris, thanks for checking into this. Just so you know, I'm still getting pop-ups first click on the site.

I am still getting zedo pop ups. Researching online, if it hijacks your computer it seems to be very difficult to remove. So far I only get this on this site. Hopefully this get fixed soon.

I've been getting it also when I switch from the main page to the forum. Hope it gets squared away.

Can one of you guys email me a screenshot of what you're seeing? We put in a code for random pop-unders. It's an extra way for us to make some money to pay the bills. But it's not supposed to be a pop up. Only supposed to happen at max one or two times a day to any given user. Thanks.

I don't get these pop ups on a Mac or an iPad. Just last week a story on the internet destiled how to set Apple products in a manner that prevents these ads. I set each Apple product accordingly.

Here is a screen shot for just a few minutes ago. I had to clear my history (cache and cookies) to get it to appear today. I believe it is repeatable.

I'd say ditto, but I don't know how to snag a screen shot. For me, they're coming strictly off the front pages, not in the forums.

Why are you the way that you are?

I got a popup on the mobile site today. (serious)

I won an Iphone over the internet for free! Hard to believe right? All I had to do was give them my credit card number. (not serious)

I think we all understand the need for CF to get $ from these ads. But to me pop ups just always feel like a scam or virus. Especially for something I have never heard of and that is laid out poorly. If it was for Ram, VW, Fareway or something else familiar maybe I would feel different.

I agree. What I don't understand is why I can't control the pop-up on my end. What is the purpose of pop-up blocking if it won't stop some pop-ups? Seems silly. Why wouldn't all pop-up ad makers allow for their pop-ups to get around blocking as well?
