I guess Remsen St. Mary's didn't have Jared Homan suiting up tonight..because Dykstra and Rock Valley beat them 96-24 in the district quarterfinals...

Feel free to post how Staten, Barnes, and Paige do as playoffs roll on...or even the out of state kids we are going after for that matter.

96-24, wow...you sure it wasn't that Texas girls' team?

I hear it was much closer than the 96-24 score would lead you to think. Rock Valley plays Remson-Union in the District Semi's next week.

Tonight Rock Valley knocked off Boyden Hull in the district finals 75-38...Rock Valley will play George-Little Rock on Monday for a trip to state...

Norwalk beat Pella 52-40 and they'll play a tough one against ADM to go to state on Tuesday night.

Nice to see Dykstra and Dorr still going...tomorrow night Staten, Barnes, and Paige all play.

I have a buddy who lives in Norwalk and says this Dorr guy is gonna walk on at ISU (as has been stated many times). What can anyone tell me about him?

He's about 6'4''-6'5'' and will be a wing player...he's averaging around 21ppg for Norwalk this season...I would think we won't be counting on walk-ons for production anymore starting next year, but you never know, and it's still nice to see our incoming players do good.

Fun fact for everyone...Wesley Staten leads his conference in scoring with over 18 points a game as a freshman...he is the biggest reason Sioux City West is relavent again in 4a basketball, although tonight's game could go either way.

He's jsut an absolute stud, I can't say enough about how high his ceiling is....if I had to quantify it, it would be like 10^10000000th
