RECRUITING: Conditt set to announce college decision on Monday at 4 p.m.

Was expecting something along the lines of "Iowa State feels good where they sit with him" in there
Our staff seems quieter than others we’ve had. Seems like bad news is more likely to get out. I’m taking it as a good thing.
Getting Conditt helps in two ways:
1. The staff has coveted him all summer. Would be the third recruit that has been a plan A that's committed. Would be huge.
2. Helps with THT. That foursome of a class would be the best in years and also start to create a pipeline to Chicago. Something that has been long overdue.

Illinois should not feel bad about losing him to ISU - legacy and we are a top flight program. I certainly hope he commits to ISU - he would literally be a huge get.
If he announces UNLV, I'm burning their campus to the ground!
Think we need to start thinking about getting DePaul and Notre Dame on the schedule in the near future.
As long as we don't schedule Duke at the United Center as our inroads to Chicago....
yes i'm sure they can't wait to help us out with our recruiting in their backyard. this seems easy.

--- First of all, as of like two weeks ago, I really liked where Iowa State was.
--- Seems like Illinois has made a final push - specifically with his AAU club.
--- If I were a betting man, I'd still give Iowa State a strong lean tomorrow.

Either would jump at a chance to play us in the United Center and DePaul would give us a return game in Hilton to get it. Sarcasm plays better when you know what you're talking about.
