For close to a million dollar salary, you'd think we could get an AD who could act.

Gonna be a cold wet night on the grass tonight at Jack Trice, with our sleeping bags and cardboard boxes. Expecting over 1,000, but the weather might scare some off.

Doesn't the bolded somewhat defeat the purpose of the "experience"? Most homeless folks can't just choose not to sleep outside if it's raining/cold/whatever it's supposed to be in Ames tonight. Reminds me of an event (don't think it was Reggie's Sleepout, I think it was a Greek house/org doing an awareness thing) when I was at ISU around this time of year for the same cause (awareness and simulation of homelessness). Signs had a footnote at the bottom with something along the lines of "in case of inclement weather, event will be moved inside _______ building." and they caught a lot of criticism for it.

I think Reggie's Sleepout is a good concept and good cause, but people who bail because of weather seem to be missing the point IMO.
