If anyone goes for Iowa, I'm kicking them right in the nuts.

Roses are like female Hawkeye fans. Some of them may look nice, but wait until you find out what's below.

Iowa's best win on the season, Northwestern, is of course getting it handed to them by Tennessee.

And the teams that Iowa escaped playing this year, Ohio State and Michigan, are winning. Had Iowa played MSU, Michigan, and Ohio State this year, they would have had 3 losses, probably wouldn't even be ranked, and it would be a fairly ho hum season.

They couldn't even beat MSU with Connor Cook not being able to throw the football because of his shoulder. Amazing.

But instead, they didn't have to play hardly anyone, and so now they have this "special" season. Part of me wishes they had beaten MSU and had to play Alabama last night. Alabama would have beat them by 50.

It's hard to think about a team that did less and got more rewards for it than this year's Iowa team. They are a slightly better than average team, and they are playing in the Rose Bowl.

I hope Stanford shows up and plays like they want to be there today and blows the doors off of Iowa like they should. I think Stanford has been in the Rose Bowl something like 3 out of the last 4 years though, so I'm not sure how excited they are to be there?

Now wait a minute, Minnesota beat Central Michigan. 21-14.:psmile:
