I don't take this very seriously but still interesting to look at. Big 12 will defenitely be down next year. Unfortunately that could be good (potential for more wins) and bad (those wins might not be respected because of conference strength. Example: Ohio State this year.) He's only got 2 Big 12 teams. I disagree with how high he has West Virginia. Lose Williams, Holton and Paige. Don't have a great recruiting class.

Might create some fun discussions about next year. Here's his list:

1. Duke
2. Villanova
3. Kansas: I think their starting lineup will be: Mason, Graham, Josh Jackson, Lucas, FR Udoka Azubuike
4. Xavier
5. Kentucky: That recruiting class is unbelievable.
6. Virginia
7. Wisconsin
8. Oregon
9. UCLA
10. Arizona: Great backcourt with Trier returning.
11. Michigan State
12. Louisville
13. West Virginia
14. USC
15. UNC
16. Dayton
17. UCONN
18. Cincinnati
19. Syracuse
20. Gonzaga
21. Rhode Island
22. Michigan
23. Creighton
24. Colorado
25. Virginia Tech.

I know now rankings don't matter, especially this early.

ISU should be ranked on duration in top 25 alone. Not like we should fall off the map either.

2 big 12 teams... and that's it... I mean I know the big 12 will be down next year, but really? Only 2 big 12 teams?

Make a case for someone else? I could see Oklahoma State with Evans, Carroll, Hammonds and, of course, Forte. Throw in a tough-minded coach and a re-energized fanbase. But I wouldn't expect national pundits to pick it. Everyone else (OU, Baylor, us) loses too much to know how they will respond.

We've been losing too much since 2012, eventually you earn some respect when you keep winning every year.

yep, we have the 3rd longest ranked streak. We have earned respect. Most likely we will be ranked to start the year, probably depending on Monte staying. That's a great thing.

Same thing was true during season. Every time we lost, some moron on here would say we would drop out or should drop out. It's a lot harder to drop out when you are already there.

We may have new bigs, but guys like Naz, Thomas, and Morris are going to make them play better than if we had new guards coming in.
