that had to be devastating listening to his agent list the teams. I can't believe that he made it through that unfazed. I would've freaked out.

Great thing is they will figure this disorder out. Royce will get the best care there is out there now that he's a big name. I am so glad that he came to ISU for the fact he opened a door to mental illness. I have panic disorder like him. Some of the easiest things in the world for most people are the hardest things for me to do. It does make you feel like you are alone out there. I have always held back in life on things I want to do but feel my anxiety will keep me from doing it, but now I am trying to change that because people are now aware of this disorder and it's not as crazy sounding as it was 4 years ago. I am one outside of the basketball perspective that can say thank you Royce for changing the perspective of panic disorder in Ames for the better!

I was hoping that he would say "Fred, can I come back?" but then I woke up. Very happy for him.

That moment with his mom was really touching, I can only imagine what he was going through in Hoiberg's office while listening to his agent. I'm sure he had an enormous sense of relief after hearing the news followed by a sense of uncertainty about heading away from his support system in MN and Ames.

Best wishes to Royce, thanks for sharing yours talents with us! Thanks Grantland, for spending the day with our guy.

Can't help but feel more strongly that ISU was his perfect choice. Hoiberg/McHale connection was key.

That was a great video!

I hope he can find a specialist now or someone that can help him control this even better.

Also shows I think, just how important and solid Fred's relationship with McHale was/is.

I wish Royce all the luck and success in the world. I think he will be a star.

Dealing with the same disorder Royce has been an inspiration to me. I hope he does extremely well in the league and honored that I got the chance to watch him play here. It is a tough disorder and most people do not understand, but are now starting to. I just respect the hell out of the man and love basketball as well!!
