Looks like Weatherspoon won his first match then injury defaulted out of the tourney after getting hurt in the quarters against Vera, the #1 seed.

Knopick teched his first guy, got beat by 3pts in the quarters when he got caught by a good ole arm spin, then teched his first guy in the conso round. Next, he has Lamont from Utah Valley. Lamont is the #1 seed, but he got upset in the quarters by Iowa native Alex Thomsen from U of Nebraska.

I only caught one match for Weatherspoon and one match for Knopick.

Even though he won, Weatherspoon looked a bit off in his first match.

I caught Knopick's loss. He was doing well, got the first points, was winning throughout the first period, but his opponent kept hitting that arm spin all day long until it landed for a takedown and turn. Despite that loss, I'm excited for him to join the clones and kick some butt. He looks aggressive and confident. I think he's got a good future.

I caught Knopick & Spoons 1st matches. Glad to see Lelund still competing. His last season left me with so much disappointment. That team had some talent, but also a huge distraction

Heck of a match by Parker. Down 4-0 and comes back with a late takedown to beat Chad Red 6-6 on criteria

followed that up with coming back from being down 8-1 to tech the guy 19-8. He’s into the round of 16 along with David Carr (who has tech’d both his opponents). Ian Parker is an absolute hammer

His constant pressure gives guys problems late in the match
