Bug Sidebar won't stay hidden

Since yesterday the sidebar no longer stays hidden. You can click the 3 dots in the upper right by Teams and Forum List and it goes away, but when you change to a new page the sidebar comes back. Before yesterday you could turn it on or off and it would remember the setting. I'm on Windows and see it with both Firefox and Edge browsers.

When I come to the site, I'm not longer getting the forum list in the same manner either. It's defaulting to "latest activity" and showing individual comments instead of threads by subject
