I'm signed up!

Hoping the distiller will also sign a bottle of Iowish Cream for me! Love that stuff.

After hearing @ChrisMWilliams talk them up, I picked up some of their bourbon, as well as the Iowish cream and River Rose Gin. It's all really good stuff.

Used to work for their dad, Rick, on a road construction during the summer for a couple years after graduating high school. Company is called Sta-Bilt.

If anyone sees the CF barrel pick in stores around Cedar Rapids area or can coordinate some type of CR area drop-off, PM me. Would love to get a bottle!

I thought C-Dubs gave a product # to give to your favorite liquor store so that they could order it. Sorry, but I can't find it. If I were you, I would call Mississippi River Distilling.

Living in Eastern Iowa and just over an hour away from LeClair, I am constantly amazed how hit or miss it is to find their stuff in local hyvees and liquor stores. Id try the route CW has suggested on the pods, to consult with the stores and see if they can get a bottle in. In my experience working in grocery retail, I can tell you that this process would also be fairly hit or miss. As a former hyvee employee, I've seen many product managers roll their eyes at some of the special order requests that come in.

Damn, I was just thinking about signing up, when I noticed the date. I guess I missed this when it was first posted.

So, not necessarily good, but because they fund the bottom line...
Seems like Texas selling out to the money vs Texas operating a 5 star program.

Good grief, just because you don't like something, doesn't mean others won't. It may be hard for you to understand, but there are people out there who prefer Cody Road to Templeton or Cedar Ridge, or maybe would just like to try something new.

Iowish Cream is kind of like Baileys.

Iowish Cream is sort of like Baileys, except much better. It has true cream. Haven't bought Bailey's, not even once, since discovering Iowish Cream. And that was long before they became a CF sponsor.

I can understand preferring Templeton (though a 'Rye' and purchased elsewhere to be sold as an "Iowa" product), but no way does any educated pallet register Cody Road as being a better Whisky than Cedar Ridge.
