The one feature I like with FanDuel is the incorporation of the live scoring into the my bets screen. So if you have a parlay, you can see the score of each game without having to go into another app or another screen within the app. DK just shows the result when the game ends.

Also, the way FanDuel and Draft Kings handle free bets from promotions is different. FD gives you site credit, so when you bet a credit you get the win + the credit. With DK, they only give you the winning amount. So if you use a $10 credit in FD, you'd get ~$19 with a -110 win where DK you'd get ~$9.
Nice, I did not know this about the free bets on FD. That might cause me to start using it a little more

DK is legit! Best ways to bet a game IMO. Circa is excellent for raw numbers, futures and customer service. MGM has great promotions as they are always asking me to deposit $50 and get $50 and free money is good! It does suck when outside the home as it's geo location is awful.. Bet Rivers is also legit because they offer game streaming! and I have been impressed with their lines and promos. These 4 are all VERY close, all with different UI's that push them up or down.

Rank:
DK
Circa
MGM
BRivers

I don't have many complaints about DK. But for some reason, I have to log off my home wifi to place a bet.

Wifi messes with the location service I think. I can only do it on 4g or 5g too

Check to see if your router is running any sort of VPN. They will flag that and not work even if you are in the state. I had this issue when switching to Google Fi since their default setting is to run a VPN for encryption.

Bump.
Finally going to do some wagering. Which app is currently best? Still same situation as in January??

I won't be doing a lot of betting, just a handful of futures, and maybe a bet every other week or so. Nothing major.

I'd honestly like to use Caesers as we have accounts and rewards set up with them for LV trips. But if the app sucks... have they fixed it since January?

Honestly, I’ve used FanDuel from day 1 and have had 0 issues with it. When depositing and withdrawing it’s almost instant and you can use all kinds of methods to deposit and withdraw. App is awesome and easy to navigate!

Be careful using referrals. Some books will void the sign-up promo for you (BetMGM will not honor $1k risk free) if you sign up with a referral. Do your research and decide when the best time to sign up is.

FYI right now might be the WORST time to sign up. DK and Fanduel have dropped their $1k risk free bet momentarily. There is enough sign-up traffic leading up to College Football and NFL that they nerf the sign-up promos. They will be back, but may be a month or two.

This is a tremendous resource: https://www.reddit.com/r/sportsbook/
And more relevant:

That subreddit has a ton of wiki's for how to sign-up and take the most advantage of every sign-up promo. Just a bunch of people trying to hammer the books.

Any other questions just ask.

Edit: I have no idea why that link is a huge ass picture.

I've been on DraftKings since this post and it's been okay but I don't bet much. Wouldn't hurt to try the Caesars app.

I currently use FanDuel, DraftKings and Caesars. I don't find Caesars to be any less user friendly than the other 2. Honestly, it's probably been the most consistent interface while DK & FD tend to update theirs frequently.

I've also noticed that Caesars tends to have a few more betting options than the other two if you're looking for more sports, etc. But if you're looking for your typical US sports and futures any of them will have the options you're looking for.

Thanks all, I did go for the Caesars. Other than screwing up linking my existing rewards acct, and not figuring out any promos at all it seems to be OK.

Won on the ISU under, but lost $10 on the SDakSt moneyline - at +400 figured it was good value. Almost!

Switched to draft kings from being with Caesers last year. I like the DK platform much better and they have more betting promos.

The smart move is to download and use all of them. each one is going to be different and every single one is going to give you sign up bonuses. Why not at least get the free money? Ive done every single one and some I have only bet on to use the free money then deleted.
