Tang seems like everyone's favorite grandpa/uncle. Kinda like Drew, it's gonna be hard for anyone not to kinda like the guy.

He could be the next John Wooden and I'll still think of him primarily as the coach named after the astronaut's drink.

Seems like a good guy and hope we kick his ass next week. And I also hope that stupid Texas doesn't scoop him up.

Pete Mundo said his sources are saying Texas is in talks to bring in Calipari. Which actually makes lots of sense.
1) he has no buyout
2) UK fans are over him
3) He fits their general mold of big name scumbag coaching hires

Why not just say those things in a press conference though? Definitely gave me weird vibes. Like sure, maybe if you just clinched the regular season title, but there is a lot of season left.
He did say all this on KC radio before the game. Was all over morning talk shows (not sure if he was actually on or not). Gave very similar speech to what he said after the game.

Tang seems alright, I've grown to like him some. He's a little different, but definitely not a normal robotic coach. I can appreciate that.

I'm with you, thought it was hokey. Goes out of his way to say expect to win and love the guys and they chant F-KU the entire game, win in the front 1/3 of the conference and he has a big shin dig at the end of the game. I like the guy, but geez, if you want to act like you've been there, act like it.
The concern for ksu fans is that he is so offended by the chant that he ultimately leaves.

Yeah so I see that and I think they must have won a championship. I’m not sure there’s anything wrong with it. Just don’t think I’ve seen anything like that less than halfway through a conference season.

They beat the #2 team in the country and a program that's owned K-State like worn socks, as State has them in football. It's the most important game of the year to this point in time, and depending how it goes, maybe for the season, IDK.

How big is that fine?
Why we begrudge youngsters having a good time is beyond me. K-State officials roped Ku off from the court storm. The hairpiece remained in tact. I can't imagine this commissioner finding anything but joy in it. He isn't Bowlsby after all.

Forgot that Bowlsby is gone. People named bob, generally have issues with fun and everything else.

I don't know about K-State, but in Ames Randy Peterson ruined the fun for everyone.

A Kentucky fan got escorted out of their arena last week because he had a sign that told Calipari to take the Texas job. He woudn’t give up the sign so they booted him. I hope Cal goes there.
