They just lost a player to an ACL tear. It's amazing that a WBB team (15 scholarships) doesn't have enough players to field a team, although I'm not sure what the minimum is. Maybe 7?

They even had ten players play against Houston on Saturday. One was Owens, who tore her ACL in the game, but that still leaves 9. They must have other injuries or illness going on this week.

I think the rule for available player counting is only for scholarship players - I do not think walk ons count.

I seem to remember Oklahoma playing several games with only 6 or 7 players available near the end of Sherri Coale's tenure.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence they chose to forfeit to the top two teams in league standings.
