Thank you for all you do to help youngsters within your program reach their true potential; generally 1-7 points worse than mine on the scoreboard. Your heart and determination amid defeat is admirable.

Dear Paul,

You really need to get a decent airport closer to JTS.

Have you seen our updated Manhattan A/P?

This is Snyder's original letter...

http://www.kansascity.com/sports/college/big-12/kansas-state/article40295718.html

When I read that he had written one to K-State fans I sort of expected it to sound more like this:

Dearest fans of my beloved Kansas State University,

I do hereby apologize for the loss our club endured at the hands of Iowa State 21 Nov of 1915, er...2015 after being victorious in several close calls against our foes to the Northeast heretofore Saturday. From the beginning of the encounter to the end on this cold morn, our first line of defense was no match for the constant advances made in the field by captain Lanning and his unit as they marched on us time and time again. No amount of planning could prepare our men for Lanning's blunt-force battering-ram collisions or the quick manuevers by Warren that transpired behind their Burton, Lalk and Omoile blockade, which resulted in Warren encountering the painted portion of the field again and again until the skirmish had reached its conclusion.

I hold Paul Rhoads in the highest regard, so it is with a great amount of respect that I tip my cap to this Iowa State club for their 41-24 victory. But rest assured our men will try harder in our next encounter.

Sincerely yours,

William "Bill" Snyder
