My favorite is when I have to clean up malware/viruses from people's machines. You can always tell when someone was doing something that they shouldn't have been doing, because they always use the same line. "I don't know how that virus got on here!" What a load of crap. We both know how the virus got on the machine, but you go ahead and play innocent.

I've connected to machines before that were mostly used by men. My favorite was one time when I had to google something that started with a "b" to install a patch. His very first saved search item was "boobies." That kicked my butt - worst porn search ever.

I used to have insomnia a lot on Sunday nights and just couldn't get to sleep. Sometimes I'd not fall asleep until after 4:00AM. And leave FOR work at 6:00 AM. So one time I just couldn't stay away after lunch no matter how many Dew's I drank. So I go out the basement and around the back of the lot, unlock the car, recline the seat ALL the way back (so no one sees you when they're walking by) and napped for about 45 minutes.

Woke up, splashed some water on my face and walked around a bit. Went back in the same way and slid into my cubicle, unawares...

I was working this terrible "internship" during college and your job performance was stat based. We figured out a way to cheat your stats so you could get an hours worth of work done in about 5 minutes. The place was swarming with people so you were hardly missed if you weren't in office. A few times I'd just leave the office, run to a I-cubs game in DSM, go to a party, and then come back at the end of my shift and clock out.
