Forward Toccara Ross, the Cyclones' lone senior, suffered a knee injury at the end of the first half and emerged in the second half on crutches and a length-of-the-leg brace on her right leg. She will be examined to see if she has a torn knee ligament.

I really, really, really, really hope she's just fine and will be back in action soon. A torn ligament would spell all kinds of trouble for our team. We have lots of stellar players, but Ross is a linchpin between a number of skill areas, it seems. Plus, she's a damn good player and it's fun to watch her go.

Not good; hopefully she will be able to play again this year.

If worse comes to worst and she couldn't play, couldn't she get a medical redshirt since this was only our 10th game? She is the only senior we have on the roster too!
She probably could get a medical redshirt; the question is whether she would want to. Adding a year onto your college career when you're a freshman isn't a big deal. Adding a year on when you're a fifth-year senior is. I'm assuming she's close to finishing her degree.

That sucks. Good luck to T on her recovery.
