Hard to enjoy this one. Utah fans are pretty much the worst we've ever encountered by far.

They're basically like if Rose would have taken Jack's floating door when the Titanic sank, then strangled him to death instead of saying thanks.

It's not like they just felt that way initially, they STILL all mock the Big 12 and think Big Ten invite is a year or two away.

Nah, it's generally always good if Iowa loses.

Good God Iowa. Just checked the score and see they called a timeout down 12 with :38 left. What a bunch of dorks.
Utah purposely took a shot clock violation. Then, PMac goes down to the other end and hoists up a wide open 3ptr, makes it, and promptly gets booed (as he should have). PMac was much more easy to tolerate than CMac, but he ends his Iowa career in classless fashion - what a fitting representation of that family!

Hok fans understand that after their women’s team graduates this year, they have nothing but mediocrity to look forward to. Meanwhile, 100 miles to the west, the center of the college basketball universe resides in Ames.

Well, Iowa, there's always next year. Freeman looks like a nice piece if you can keep him. Dix got better as the year went on. And maybe Harding will find a Zoltar machine on summer break. They've got all the pieces to make another deep NIT run, again next year.
That roster doesn’t look great next season other than Freeman.
