I think it's pretty close between those two. I think Fran's peak should have been a mid-major type school. In fact, I think he would be thriving in an MVC job.
Fran is stealing all of Ben’s recruits.
In a sense, he has thrived at Iowa. Very middling really, but looking pretty good stacked up against Alford and Lickliter.
Jake at least has a coaching tree. What does Fran have, a coaching shrub, if even that?
Fran hires “yes men”. None of his assistants will go in to coach a major conference school

Fran is more like a mushroom. He releases a cloud of coaching spores that can attach to the sides of rotting logs and damp places, like the Indiana Pacers front office.
Don’t think he’ll hire an agent so can still return to IC…

That is a very. bold. statement.
Not even close. He’s certainly got an ego issue, but I think you’re discounting some of the terrible people that have gone through that Iowa program.
That covers a lot of ground...I'd have to think about that one.
