A few observations so far...

its an expensive place to be compared to KC.

KU shot 10% in the first half against KSU and scored a whopping 12 points. Yet they have come back and are within 6 of KSU in the second half. Two ugly teams. How did KU beat us?

finally I include a pic. Attendance is horrid for a non Baylor game.

I agree attendence is terrible , even worse than the big 10 womens tourney. At least they played theirs more near the center of the conference.

Well it kinda is the center of the conference, just not the center where anyone cares or supports WBB. Of course no one in Texas is going to watch KSU and KU and they aren't good enough for midwesterners to roll down to Texas to watch.

Man, that crowd looks like snap shots you see from some of those resort sponsored holiday jams in Jamaica or something that are played in a hotel gym.

Yet another reason it should be moved back to KC... the baylor fans will travel since they are good... more ISU fans will show up as well as more Kansas / KSU fans in KC. I would totally go to this tourney if it were closer (Dallas is not really a "weekend trip" for me :) )

Oklahoma City is more in the center than Dallas. Why the games are closet to the bottem three teams in the league makes no sense. I attended the games there and the attendence while not a great as KC alot better than Dallas.

I'd go for it being in OKC again!

Having the women's tournament in Kansas City or Oklahoma City makes way more sense than having it in Dallas. Even men's conference games are not well attended in Texas. It seems a shame that the Big 12 is not interested in putting a little jingle in the conference wallet by having the tournament where local fans actually care enough to attend and that just might be convenient for fans that care to follow their team.

Thanks for the updates. ESPN has only game scores which isn't helpful because we're at Big 12 wrestling and can't watch.

Not having a CCG in football hurts the idea that the bball tourney should always be in KC. I agree tho it should be a no brainer to have the games where more people will watch. KC is the best big 12 sports city IMO even if there is no instate team in the league.

Fennelly is getting out coached today. He used to stand up now he always sits in his chair and lean back when things go wrong. Everything going wrong today minus brynn's shooting.
