Not used to seeing old fashioned post play, kind of refreshing..

With non positional play these days, Purdue is kind of like a team running the wishbone.
Hard to prepare for it. Though UConn also runs it bit so they are familiar with it I suppose

Possibly both?

I grew up watching Iowa basketball in the 80s and Gene Keady always scared the sh*t out of me a lot more than Bobby Knight ever did. Dude was severe.
He was born 57 years old.

Purdue has the most tournament wins without a championship at 49. If they win, Gonzaga will take over the lead with 46.

For some reason I thought Zaga got one.

Shows how little interest I really have in these finals games over the years.

They've been to the 'ship twice, but lost both (to baylor and UNC)

Yeah, I just had to look it up as well. I thought it was a few years ago when their stud jumped up on the scorers table after the win. That must have been the year they came just short.

Kaufman Ren finally getting called for a foul on a post up. Feels like he gets away with lots of contact in games I've watched

UConn is just too good. Can't see Purdue coming back
