SIAP. Crazy story!

I've heard Iowa described as the fake ID of football before but this guy was faking it until he was making it.

Why is this in The Daily Mail and not a more-local media?

I have a feeling that this story is going to get much much worse as we learn more about it.

Yep. A runaway drifter guy did something in Albuquerque (or prior to that) that made obliterating his old identity necessary.

Now we wait to find out what that was.

Lucky that the real father was still alive to get DNA from.

I always find stories like this fascinating where the spouse never met ANY family members. I mean, not a single cousin, aunt, etc?

I think the Iowa Supreme Court recently held a hearing on those crooks still stiffing contractors over the children’s hospital. Still waving a middle finger to responsibility and integrity.

So Woods got his identity stolen in 1988 and didn't discover it until 31 years later? And the only way he figured it out was because Kierans took his money in 1990?

At the time of the fraud discovery, the real Woods was homeless, but Kierans had actually put together a "more successful" life with Woods' name.

Am I putting that together correctly? I'm curious what Woods was doing for 30 years where he has to end up homeless before discovering that someone had taken the money out of his bank account 30 years prior.

So they sill havent paid Mdern Pipping. Shocking the place is a fraud. Minus the good work of the childrens hospital.

I’m glad they included a photo of a hot dog stand, while also clarifying it’s not the hot dog stand. Really brings closure.

I didn’t see anywhere in the article where this criminal was even qualified to obtain a job in IT.

I guess University of Iowa will literally hire anyone.
