Listening to KFAN and they're saying the funding source attached to the bill, a racetrack/casino, is going to kill the bill. The words I just heard are, "I will be shocked if this moves forward."

Screwed them for the Dodgers, took the Lakers, and ready to snag the Viqueens. LA is just rude to the Twin Cities on the sports scene

The "racino" portion of the bill would add slots to the two state racetracks, and would help fund the project.

This has been added to the funding proposal in addition to "pull-tabs", not in lieu of pull-tabs. It sounds like there are a number of different groups for whom this is a deal breaker.

Too much power in the TCs lies outside the city center. They will never get a deal done up there.

Maybe they should ask Best Buy for money... I heard they are doing awesome right now.

You are not a Minnesota Vikings fan.
You can like a player without liking the team. Aaron Rodgers is awesome for carrying my team to a fantasy football title.

But seriously, I'm a huge Yankee fan and hate the Red Sox, but love watching Dustin Pedroia play baseball. He's fun to watch and a true professional. The flip also works. I hated AJ Burnett and he was in the starting rotation for 5 years too many. :skeptical:

In all seriousness, I'd hate to see the Vikings go. I always look forward to the Packers/Vikings games, and they're fun, win or lose. Also, every division needs a basement dweller

Too much political posturing going on. Either we know a Stadium is going to be built when the shovels hit the ground, or the team is leaving when the last member is on the plane. This "I just heard that..." and "Is it true that..." talk only sensationalizes the perspective and gets the pot a-stirrin'.

If the Vikings do move will they switch up the divisions?

You would think that if... wait, when the Vikes go to LA, that they will switch up the divisions.

Vikes would be out west and the St. Louis Rams would most likely end up in the "Norris" Division with the Bears, Packers and Lions.
