ISU average is 76.8. The teams we double up on are clustered in the middle.

If I just rank teams 1-14 instead of using raw NET rating:

Hardest: KSU -- 7.1 average rank
Easiest: Texas -- 8.6 average rank

ISU: 8.2 average rank

Presumed non-conference games:
UNI at home
Iowa at home
Drake away? Last year's Drake @ ISU game was cancelled, so I don't know how that might affect things. But we don't want all three in-state games @ home, so my guess is the schedule will be unaffected.

Any others?

It'll seem weird not to round robin it. Maybe we get lucky and have a men and women's double header away trip at one of the newbies it would be fun.

Full disclosure I LOVE doubleheader games in Hilton twice the Bb with limited more expense. It also usually helps the wbb crowd.

The pre-season awards and standings predictions should be interesting. Texas is probably the easy pick for first as the only Big 12 team likely to be ranked in early polls. Maybe Baylor 2nd and than just shuffle the deck for OSU, Kansas, KSU, OU and ISU. KSU might be the wildcard depending on how effective Lee is and how their now more experienced guards do.

Will have ten coaches voting that don't know much about 4 new teams and 3 new coaches tot he league that don't know much about 11 teams and one that doesn't know much about the other 13. The fact that all of the new teams will be deep 2nd tier probably helps, don't have to waste much time thinking about where they will finish.

Wondering if we will have any holiday type tournaments for NC. The Phil Knight thingie last season was sort of a big deal so that was announced in the spring of last year. I haven't seen anything here on similar stuff for this coming season (unless I missed it). With a ton of newbies we don't want to be running off to play a bunch of Top 25 teams but some roadies for the gals to dip their toes into play way from Hilton would be good (IMHO).

Play Texas only once? Play Baylor only once? Play Oklahoma only once? I think it's pretty favorable. But the tradeoff is we play a lot of weak teams only once as well.
Yeah, but this way we have a better chance at winning some of the road games against weaker teams while playing the stronger teams in Hilton. Hopefully, the Sisters can take all of those close(r) games.

Not knowing the schedules for other schools, I think we have the most road miles. We go to Utah, WV, Texas times 3, and Florida.

Have you seen Texas Techs non conference schedule? If they lose more than one game in such a soft lineup they will likely be in big trouble come conference time.

Apparently we'll be playing Syracuse in the South Point Shootout on November 25.

Rutgers is also going, per their schedule.

Then, there's this:

Fri 11/24
Texas Tech
vs Rutgers
Syracuse vs UNI

Sat 11/25
Texas Tech
vs Santa Clara
Syracuse vs Iowa State

None of the other 6 alleged teams have posted their schedules yet.

They do this often. Went 12-1 in the non-con last year and then 6-12 in the Big 12, bookended by two blowout losses to the Twister Sisters.

Thanks for posting. I can't look at twitter anymore because I don't have an account and the timeline is sorted by most reacted or something (it's not chronological).

The Las Vegas games are a good add. Will get the team out of Hilton and experience a road trip. And it's at a venue with a real events arena not one of those totally on the cheap tournaments played in a glorified ballroom like the one last year with the injured player clusterup that made all of the sports news.
