I saw this to the north as I was driving home from work tonight. I was a little miffed that it seemed so far north of here because I wanted a storm to hit tonight. Now that I see that it's gonna smash right into us, I'm stoked.

You may be disappointed if you live in Central Iowa. Doesn't look like it's going to do much. Omaha has a better chance.

yeah, I just noticed that too. At first it looked like it was going to hit Ames head on, but now the strongest looks to be more west...

As far as storms go...Ames is still going to get ALOT of rain tonight.

But, my favorite part is when it first moves in. It goes from calm and tranquil to windy as hell and horizontal rain. I don't think that's gonna happen, as the heavier stuff looks to be to the west. Everything else is just kinda boring... :wink:
