Yesterday the Weather Channel app was saying 5-8 inches of snow for the metro. They have since scaled that back to 1-4 inches Wednesday night into Thursday.

Well, in Iowa you always pay for unusually nice weather with unusually bad. Looks like that pattern is going to play out once again. Will it frost deeply enough to kill some buds??

WHO said rain until late Wednesday where it'll transition to snow for a few hours. Didn't give a total but they weren't making a big deal about it either.

Looks like my area (SE MN) is under the gun for big snow. Hesitant on putting specific numbers out there though. Still that one model trying to take a more southerly route. Certainly will be some 6-12" snowfall somewhere in the band wherever it sets up. Right now I think it's lined up nicely with the Winter Storm Watch that is in place.

Is it trending north? Cedar Rapids storm totals are dropping every time I look it up.

Iowa weather is ridiculous. One day it'll be 50 the next it'll be snowing

An 18 degree drop in temp is actually not even slightly ridiculous.

We'll be attacked by porpoises?

I thought it didn't have to be 32 degrees for it to snow?

Either way, it's looking like a high around 70 tomorrow then snow Thursday early am? A little ridiculous.

And then 50 on Friday
