Hearing CPR talk about Wally made me think about what he'll do next?

We've heard rumors several times over the past 2-3 years that he was going to retire, but he never did. I wonder if he'll retire now or if he'll go coach somewhere else?

I'd figure retire. Call it a good career.

He had some good defenses in Ames.

Could just never get the offense rolling at the same time.

I think the only reason he hasn't retired yet is that he was loyal to CPR and didn't want to leave him in a spot where he was dealing with replacing both coordinators at once...

Yeah, I thought he was close to retiring a few times. But with the change in offensive coordinators and the death of Curtis, he stayed to help out.

I will always remember my mom talking to rally after Memphis. She told him how much fun the season had been and he said he was sorry they couldn't get the win but the expirence was great for the players. Wally is a good guy.
