Just curious because I am really into any movie that depicts the Civil War, WWI, WW2, Nam, etc.

I will put Gettysburg at the top of my list because of it's accuracy to the battle. It also shows equal parts of both sides which is awesome.

Gettysburg: Lewis Armistead Rallies the Division - YouTube

Gettysburg Movie the best part - Battle of Little Round Top - YouTube

Robert E Lee at Gettysburg - YouTube

So I assume movies about real wars and not Sci-Fi / Fantasy

Saving Private Ryan is pretty awesome. Hits me right in the feels.

Also, Inglorious Basterds is a war movie, right?

Can I also vote for the first half of Stripes? Didn't care for it much once they were done with basic, but during basic it is pure gold!
