What do you mean "sounds bad" we already know Curtis is gone, we've known for a long time it would probably happen

More of the same news by the sounds of it. What's interesting to me is that the news of Stinson signing with an agent came last week, but the latest draft prediction (updated today) still has Curtis off the list. Blalock however has been moved into the first round of the 2007 draft.

yeah HOTDON... which mock draft are you looking at? That's awesome... they must think with our new team Will will be able to put up good stats should he stay.

He said it sounds bad for Will and Curtis, not Iowa State. They are real people living real lives. They might be great entertainment for us but i really hope they succeed in life outside of Iowa State.

Anybody notice that Reggie George has put his name in the draft as an early entry. Thought that was kind of interresting and funny at the same time.

that draft has Joakim Noah in it, and I am pretty sure he is not declared, so hopefully this one isn't very accurate

That is a 2007 Draft projection, not 2006.

My bad. I missed the '07 bit and I assumed we were talking about this year.

Joakim has stated that he wouldn't go this year. I think the if Blalock has a good workout, he could go as high as top 5-10 of second round, if not, I really could see him not making the draft at all. He is very much an unknown outside of the BigXII area. That is what we currently have to put up with when it comes to lack of media, our players don't get all the credit they deserve.

I don't think it's fair to say our players don't get all the credit they deserve. ISU is a pretty-well known commodity around the country. I lived in Boston a few years back and was surprised how many people knew about Tim Floyd, etc. Plus Will and Curtis would be attracting a lot more attention if ISU would have won a few more games last season. Missing clutch FTs and going 2-6 in games decided by 5 points or less didn't help matters.

Hate to bring it up but did anyone notice Adam Huluska is on the 07 mock draft list to. Middle of second round.

He was above Stinson a few weeks back when Curtis was talking about coming back and was bumped to the 07 list. !mistrust

Will is ahead of Brandon Rush on that draft. Both surprising and sweet.

I really don't think Blalock will go before Rush. Rush has some great NBA attributes that when developed, could be top 10 draft material.
