I like it.
It isn't intended to pump up the crowd. It's a new idea of a mascot. It isn't a "Cy." Instead, it's going to be used to greet people at games.
Also, it's main purpose, from what I've heard, is for children. Specifically, sick children. This mascots first MANY appearances will be at children's hospitals, appearing with other Cubs. It's to keep the little ones happy, not the adults who want t-shirts in the stands.
The next time the Cubs have a good idea will be the first. I already assume they are looking to sign Arod when he becomes available. Other than that I agree on the KU part, carry on.
