Does zero degrees come with the regular solar cycle throughout the year or winter short days

I’m no fan of extreme heat but I think I’d have to take the 100 because at 0 there would be no biking, kayaking, boating, tubing, swimming, beach days, motorcycles, camping, etc.

Lots of people asking about humidity and heat without considering windchill with the cold.

If it's 0 with ANY windchill, you're pretty much stuck inside. You're not going snowmobiling or cross-country skiing. Maybe ice fishing?

If it's 100 even with some humidity, you can still get outside and go fishing or swimming. Even just sit in the shade with a cold drink.

I've cross country skied and hiked/ran etc. in these kinds of conditions. I stay much warmer doing that than ice fishing quite easily but I'm a 'tough' guy (idiot) without a hut/shack.

And even paddling or fishing in high temps can be surprisingly oppressive.

Some of this preference may be because my body tends to 'run' hot...I wonder if that factors into these scenarios.

0. All day. Especially with no or little wind. The cold crisp air is delightful. And I love a nice fire in the living room.

Went with 100 long term 0 too much stuff breaks. Most mechanical stuff does better at 100 than 0.

I'm definitely not a 100 guy but I have friends whose son was stationed in Alaska. Suicide rate was off the charts. So I'm not sure which way I'd go.

Metric system is way better for everything else, but Celsius really sucks.

100 is dangerous hot, 0 is dangerous could, and 100 units in between rather than 30 something.

Worked with someone who had lived up there for some time and said the same about the suicide rates. He said it was because of how dark it is during the winter months that really tests people.

100. Just run the AC. No snow. No ice. No bundling up. And we are talking ZERO as the alternative choice. Assuming Fahrenheit degrees. A lot of people travel to places that have 100 degree heat. Not many travel to places with extremely cold weather. We are talking Zero…..not 32 F.

I hate hate hate the heat but 100 is closer to a comfortable 72 degrees than 0 is.
