We recently just moved into a new construction home (2-story) and we declined the option to pay to install a zoned HVAC system...after living in the house for 2 months we are re-considering said zoned HVAC.
Currently, thermostat is on main level and as with every two-story, 2nd level is considerably hotter than main level due to thermostat location. I think it will be the same way in the summer but not sure.
I think it is roughly $1,800 to have them install the zones and didn't know if any of you had done so and the pros/cons as far as 'zones' and lower utility rates.
Thanks
