Figure it's not too early to start a thread for this fall. There are a few odds and ends to post now, such as the McCaffrey extension, etc.
One (polling) question for you all: would people rather have separate 49ers game day threads for each week or do everything in one place like last season? I honestly don't have a preference. There are pros and cons to both ways. But I know some were frustrated with games not having their own thread - I just didn't want to switch gears in mid-season last year. Poll is open for three weeks (until the end of June, more or less). I'll bump it occasionally so more people have a chance to see and vote if news to post is slow otherwise.

I didn't realize Johnny was 6-3, in his playing days. That's pretty tall, even now. He probably shrunk and inch or two as he got older. He played at Illinois and Beloit, and was drafted by the St/ Louis Bombers as a 6-3 'forward'! Times have changed.

Fanatics ... this is a huge undertaking but we have some opportunities for a direct flight between Des Moines and Dublin. Would be a shorter trip for those with work, kids and school.
