it's not kate's fault john doesn't stand up and be a man. no wonder she walks all over him. she has no respect for the wimp. what's with the double ear pierce? is the dude a pirate? she isn't innocent either. seeing those dirty feet propped up in front of the camera creeped me out. both are self centered losers. when they say "I love my kids" it's code for "I love making money off my kids so I don't have to have a real job."

Those crooked houses were pretty cool. Bet they cost a pretty penny though. I did find it fantastic that she manipulated the workers into manipulating Jon on where to put them.

Remember...they were almost certainly free for J&K+8! By the way, Jon's original location for those things was not very good...too far away from the house with no visual from the house/yard.

Sadly, I totally agree with the highlighted part of what you say. These people are very self-centered.

Jon did mention possibly getting job offers. I dont think he wants to mooch off the show as much as people think.

Kate was right on the location of the houses. I wouldn't want my little ones disappearing into the woods for hours to play. I'd have a cow. I need a bath.

Yeah we'll see how that works out for him. He probably made less than $80K as an IT guy at his prior job. He's looking at $3,200/month apartments in NYC.

He can live in those places from the shows success, but I think he wants to work to keep busy. Trump towers probably allows him privacy to an extent.

You know what would be an awesome show.

Octomom and kids
Kate and kids
Hulk Hogan's wife with her 19,000 pets

In one gigantic house....complete madness.

They were, but jeez, can they get past the materialness of everything? Kate seems to think that she can buy anything for those kids. All they really want is to be with you. Stop pimping the books and going on speaking tours and hang out at home.

Jon should get 1/2 of everything. Seeing as they have a 40 episode season, and they get $73k per episode, I think he can afford a bachelor pad.

If that were my mom I'd want her to be gone on as many book signings and publicity tours as possible.

Good call. Had she stayed home instead of going out on book tours and being a ***** on national TV I might have a different opinion.

Its hard to know exactly what goes on business wise on that show. For all we know, that company approached them with a donation in order to boost their business. Anymore most shows on tv advertise to keep their cost low while boosting sales for the companies. They do get a ton of stuff though and I hope they give back to the less fortunate more than we see on the air.

She is caught up in the possession aspect of this whole thing. Look at their houses, this is the 3rd one they have been in in the last 5 years. The new one is HUGE.

I agree. The new house is grotesque. Each room is too big. Before too long this show will be done and teh world will forget....until they do a reunion show in 20 years.

So he's paying $3,200/mo. for a one-bedroom, 700 sq.ft. apartment? Guess he doesn't want the kids over...

They are taking turns in the house with the kids. The kids will never have to stay anywhere else.

They are paying for very little...the marketing folks call it product placement...a very effective form of targeted advertising.

I would be shocked if they paid for those little houses. Didn't you see some of the kids running around with t-shirts on with the name of the company that provided them on the front? I'll bet the "krooked house" people have had a banner day of website hits and phone calls today...heck, I think a link to their website was even posted in a previous post!

Having said that, they are very materialistic...that is why they are letting their family implode...they like the jack from the show.
