Jared Barnett #28 QB On Rivals

Rivals just ranked Barnett as the 28th dual threat QB in the country for 2010. I guess i didnt know this kid was that good. Thoughts?

#28 dual threat qb STILL means he's not "that" good...if you remember, Austen was ranked like #9 or 10 by Rivals. Just getting ranked doesn't mean a whole lot.

That means there will be 27 other schools next year with better "dual threat" qb recruits, IF you believe that number. I wouldnt worry about his number.

Barnett was a great sign for PR and the new staff. College football is truly a QB game and if you have a good one, you've always got a chance to win. If all goes as planned, Arnaud will start 09' & 10', Tiller will start '11 & '12 and Barnett will start '13 & '14. Also, Tiller & Barnett will benefit from having a RS year as well as two understudy years before they're given the reigns.
