I went with other. Being down in the south if you want really good friend chicken just drive to a small town, look for a mom/pop type restaurant, and order.
Yeah, the place will look like it failed every health inspection, but the food is always great.

Wow, come to the Detroit, Michigan area and you will need to add about 10 franchises to your poll list.

Hands down Bojangles on "fast" food chicken.

Do not even get me started on their Boberry Biscuits. OH MY GOD I need to move back to NC.

Only seen one Bojangles in my lifetime during a trip to SC - I seriously had the shakes trying to kick the Boberry biscuit addiction back in the heartland.

love 'em - you'd think Hardees would throw out the raisens and get some damn boberrys!!!

Hands down on Chick Fillet fast food - it is big back East. Machine Shed locally.

Oh I love me some Pizza Ranch. I have absolutely gorged myself there a few times.

I hear you there...the first time I'd ever eaten there was the weekend before Christmas when my inlaws had the glorious idea to go eat their buffet for our family Christmas. I ate a ton and then woke up puking at 3 or 4 am. However, I enjoyed it so much I went back for another round the following weekend when I moved my parents to Harlan. Fortunately it wasn't followed by another round of yakking.

Sneaky's chicken in Sioux City, hands down. If I had a second choice, Hy-vee in Ames. My wife and I would have "Fried Chicken Tuesdays" when we lived in Ames. But I just cant find anyone who beats Sneakys' fried greasy goodness.
