Am I crazy... or are you missing a?
I'm not missing anything. Players can't control when there are runners on base while they are up. RBI's would probably be one of the last stats I would use to rate a player.

Ok. Would you say that Jake Fox has hit "better" than Milton in his chances?I'm not missing anything. Players can't control when there are runners on base while they are up. RBI's would probably be one of the last stats I would use to rate a player.
Why do people still use RBI's as a stat they rate a player on?

So 1 month makes up for 3 months of crappines?
I admitted he didn't get off to a great start. Never said he did. But if you don't think he's been one of the cubs best hitters thus far in the second half you haven't been watching the team.
...."What can you do?" he said. "You can't do nothing. You listen to them yell at you."
Bradley then was asked if he had been the victim of racial slurs from the bleachers. He declined to give an example.
"All I'm saying is I just pray the game is nine innings, so I can be out there the least amount of time as possible and go home," he said.
It was awful nice of him to start hitting when they were out of it. Some players are much better when they're on small markets or on bad teams, like Javy Vazquez.
Milton Bradley is not the reason the cubs are losing. He's tried to hold up his end of the bargain in the second half and the cubs were actually still in first place in the second half, so his hitting hasn't totally come when they'd fallen off. The entire offense is just terrible. Not one person!

Not really. If you think about, RBI should really go to the guys that are on base. Nobody who drives a guy in had anything to do with how that guy got on base.

That maybe so. I don't know if he performs well in the spotlight or not.
And Jake Fox has had a great run, no doubt. I think you could compare the numbers he's put up in the limited at bats up against pretty much every other player on the roster and he'd look better at this point.
My point is that you're all picking out one player on the team and ripping him apart. Milton Bradley is not the reason the cubs are losing.
