I don't get the point of Twitter, but this stuff is hilarious!

This stuff is freaking classic. I would love to think that some guy really said all of this stuff and his son really is tweeting it. That cracks me up. Heck, its a sitcom in the making.

If you follow someone do you get notices or able to get texts when they update something?

Because that stuff would absolutely make my afternoons at work.

Have not gone the Twitter route myself but may as it's a great marketing tool.

I know there are a ton of tools for it. What are the most user friendly ways people most often use to update their own and follow others?

I use TwitterFox in my broswer. Digsby for IM/Twitter integration. I am still looking for a good option on my mobile. I was using Twikini, but they charge now. So I have been using PockeTwit for reading Tweets and TXT msg for updates.

I don't really want to get updates via TXT, because I follow a lot of people and that would be too many TXTs.

I love Twitter. I get all my weather and news on Twitter.

Tried tinytwitter and twitterberry but like Uber Twitter the best. Fastest and smoothest.

My top three twits are

Lance Armstrong
Paul Shirley
