Last year was our chance to get a win in Boulder, something that doesn't happen often. CU is horrible. I know it makes our conference look bad when teams from within it lose to teams perceived to be worse, but I enjoyed watching this one.

Really hope we don't lose to these fools later on this year at home. We haven't lost to them at JTS since 2003.

Really not trying to be a d*ck here but that's only 2 games that we've beat them in a row at home. But yeah I hope we can win this one at home too, but they don't look good now and there's still a lot to figure out this season. Can't pretend to know who CU is and who we are after we've both only played one game. Especially against a good rival team that usually plays them close. That being said WTG Rams! Party in Ft. Collins!

Because there are some people who think Hawkins will win at Colorado, and the fact remain that they beat us not even a year ago. I think we should win, but to think Colorado might win isn't beyond comprehension.

Colorado has had our number since 1980. We've beat Nebraska more often than we have Colorado.

Having said that, I like our chances against them in Ames this year.

My comment was more intended for those who write this game off as a sure loss. I agree with both of you, we have a good shot to win it this year, but can't take any win for granted. I just felt that, considering the way the game last year ended and the fact that we've beaten Colorado the last two times at JTS, people would be more optimistic about this game.

Where is Chris Williams today? Needs to come on this thread and eat his crow about Colorado being a North contender.

Fair enough.

I will go on record today saying they are going to be battling it out in the cellar, but I haven't changed my predictions.

I agree that CU looks to be a ****-poor team again this year and will challenge for the cellar with us and K-State. But stranger things have happened (like us taking a run at the division in 2004 after a 2-10 season in 2003).
