Top Juco QB to Auburn

I was so torn watching the NW-Auburn bowl game. Hated to see a crappy Big 10 team beat the SEC, but if Auburn would have blown that lead and lost, Chiz may have never recovered with the Auburn fan base.
Northwestern is the only Big10 team I like! I love Fitzgerald! If I were a high school kid (and could get into that school) I would play for him!

I'll root for Northwestern against anybody. Except for us. I've got no problem rooting for them because of their conference.
Plus I grew up during their epic losing streak. Every time they win, it reminds me that a program can come from the absolute depths of college football and do some winning.

Would you be a 4 or 5 star recruit too? Because if so, and you grew up an Iowa State fan, I'd be ****** you left us!
Yeah...I understand. I would go to Iowa State of course...I was just trying to express my appreciation for Pat Fitzgerald.
That said...I was not the type of athlete that any college wanted...and I certainly was not the type of student that Northwestern wanted...
Did I understand this correctly:
1. He already burned his Freshman year of eligibility at D1.
2. He already burned a redshirt year as a soph.
3. He played one year at JUCO
So he will have two years of eligibility?

We actually have some really big advantages (fan support, lower academic standards) over NW. If it can be done there, it sure as hell can be done here.
Chizik will not be at for too much longer and I would bet anything on that. He will have to win the Iron Bowl at some point. It does not matter how many games you have won. If he go's 0-4 vs Saban. Bye Bye

Is Iowa the only litmus test? Do Iowa fans say that game is Northwestern's superbowl as well?

How would you feel if you were a 4* qb waiting in the wings, waited your turn to start, next years your senior year and you just got recruited over....that JUCO was promised playin time i will guarantee you!!!!
Or how bout last years qb recruit....he also was a 4* recruit that came in and redshirted so he had 4 left at worst three to start....now with this kid, at best he will have 2 years left.....
