I think the media wants them to look good because a KSU-TX or KSU-KU matchup makes better ratings then.

I think we will give UT a good game tonight. I think we can win, but it will be tough.
Students have been lining up for good seats since 4 am this morning, so Bramlage will be very loud.

As for our games with ISU, I wouldn't be surprised if we lost in Ames. Hilton is always a tough place to play so an ISU win wouldn't shock me. The game in Manhattan probably won't even be close, though.

I don't if anyone is watching this game, but apparently when Pittman punches a K-State player in the face it isn't a foul, but a hand check on the other is.

To say that the officiating has been lacking would be an understatment.

I don't know what some of you have been watching this year, but KState is pretty freaking good this season. They'll be a 3 or 4 seed in my opinion. Tough team. I think we have a shot at knocking them off at home but their guards are tough.

Wow! Anyone else watching the game now on ESPN? Kansas fans complain about how much we boo....holy cow the K-State fans have boo every time they hack someone.

As far as the game has gone to this point, K-State is obviously very athletic. They will make some amazing plays, and they will make some extremely stupid plays. It drives me nuts how Clemente will almost ALWAYS pull up for a 3 in transition. Hopefully the guys prepare for that.

So let's pretend that KSU's team is ISU.

What do you think fanatics would think about this team: wins 23 games the previous season and returns 4 starters, adds a 5-star PF UCONN transfer, adds a McD's AA PF, adds a top100 SG. Then they proceed to start the season 15-2, with the only losses being a good team on a neutral court, and on the road in conference.

We would be saying we're overrated???? Riiiiight...........

I'm convinced that only 0.006% of bball posters actually watch college basketball when ISU isn't playing.

For what it's worth I'm convinced that is par for the course for all fans, I know Iowa fans like ISU say some of the most bizarre, out of the realm things you'd ever think. They are notoriously incapable of looking outside their own agenda and seeing things for what they are.

I haven't been on an Iowa board in 8 months and gave up my lounge subscription 2 years ago, but Ill bet they are still complaining about Brett Greenwood. Steve Alford, KF playing the wrong kids etc.........

Just thought you could use a little support before you got lambasted........

Nice to see someone use a little introspection and logic.

Chad.

Texas is down 14 with 3:00 to go in the 1st and looks rattled. KSU is not overrated, they're really good. So if ISU could beat them, that truly would be a quality win.

And frosted tips ref guy is working the game (the one that got run over in the Iowa game).

THIS!

I was suprised the past couple weeks of posters claiming Brackins is dropping down to the 3rd round of the draft (ie only two rounds in the NBA draft). Now people claiming K-State is overrated, I agree brokenlogin, I don't think a lot posters watch any bball outside of Iowa state. K-State is extremely athletic, and like us, haven't peaked yet. They're pretty good. As I'm typing, they're currently up 14 on Texas.

Im sorry, but i think that on a neutral court Gonzaga, Pitt, West Va, BYU, Georgetown, and Purdue would all defeat K State. I realize thats just an opinion and i may be wrong. I also think Clemson, Georgia Tech, UCONN and UNC could all win as well. All teams are behind K state in the rankings. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. And this opinion would make it seem as though they are overrated. Which is why in the first post the very first thing i said was IMO. I am in no way saying K state is not good. They are easily a top 20 team. but top 10???

I have no idea who would win against KSU on a neutral court, but all those teams you list (except BYU) have more losses than KSU - which is why they're ranked higher. Not that hoops polls (and the people who vote in them) make any sense....
