Could have predicted this thread yesterday. I really don't know what you want the guy to do. If you would rather be but in a position where there are 4 guys on the floor so be it. He talked about it extensively on the post game show and how he thought about it. Not much that can be done.
This is the biggest BS defense of the reinstatement out there...total BS.
Like I have said, I really had no opinion on the suspension or the reinstatement itself but I do have these observations:
-Those that are fans of McDermott will support what he does to the death...even if he changes his mind 180 degrees in a couple of weeks.
-Clearly, McDermott is feeling the heat. Self preservation has kicked in and having the courage of your convictions is gone.
-All of this "the team wanted him back" talk makes him look totally impotent as the coach.
