I'm just wondering what people think? I guess it depends on who you think stays or goes, but lets face it, they will play under Mac.

Ugh. There is not a pure scorer in that line-up. We might average 45 ppg next year.

I know most of you will think I am crazy, but I will not be surprised if Ham scores 15 a game next year and averages 9+ rebounds, I also think his senior year he could very well be a 18-20 point scorer.

Other than that it will depend on the new guys. Colvin, if he stays should be our starting point guard next year and be in the 15 point a game range.

I do think the chances of Brackins coming back are growing everytime he proves he can not shoot well with physical play. Until he solves that problem he will not make much money in the pros.

If he gets it, Gilstrap should play another year and could easily be a 20 point a game person next year.

No matter who is the coach or who stays, I will buy my season tickets, just like I have for the last 25 years +!

I am still not convinced that Brackins is gone. Putting myself in an NBA scout's shoes, I haven't seen a lot out of him this year that says NBA draft pick. But then again, Stinson didn't get drafted either and wasn't back in Ames. Obviously Gilstrap's presence is far from a certainty. Kind of hard for me to gage the new guys coming in, having never seen them play.

DG (sigh)
Phillips
Gilstrap
Dendy (hopefully he gets his act together)
Hamilton

My hope is Colvin steps up and wins the PG job allowing DG to roam.

off the bench juco 1 and juco 2.

Half way through the season juco 1 quits and juco 2 doesn't get along with McD and rides the bench.

I saw Coach Rutter at the Rec Center last week watching a 6 ft and under intramural game. I think there are a couple of guys from the MWL team that he has his eyes on.

I do like how Ham is playing in the last few games. And barring any economic issues, I'll be getting season tickets as well.

NEXT YEAR OF YEAR ONE AT BEGINNING OF SEASON

Ham ( never comes out, he can go the whole game)

CB power forward (will be back to resestablish that he can be more physical - NBA you need to be 240-250#s to swing with the bigger boys)

Colvin - point guard who will know what passes his big people can catch (Dendy usually can handle them all and Ham will have magnet hands by next year)

Vandy - small forward for outside shooting, our true threat on mismatch from the perimeter

SC - shooting guard

Bench
Dendy will be back in similar role as mop up player around the bucket as he will make amends all summer
Newcomers such as Phillips and Railey - McD does not start new people that often, but he may change through necassity by the fourth game
Others - Boozer/Buckley/DG will be back up guards and first off the bench
NCAA will say no to Gilstrap coming back
