Any way the poll could be edited so Petey's name is spelled correctly?

the Cyclone fan who's had to put up with an AD who came up with this convoluted contract and the coach who's about to set the team record for conference losses next season.

Kantrail Horton gets my vote! Tinsley and Fizer got all the pub, Horton just played the tough D and hit his 3s quietly.

Easy JC Holloway. He did not score much, but he was a great point guard at setting everybody else up.

Peterson. Easy choice. The guy ended up in the top 10 all time at ISU for 3's in just two years. He was also a great rebounder for a little guy. Plus he was kind of a Jacy Holloway-type glue player that made all the little plays. Would have made a huge impact on this year's team.

I would say Curtis Stinson. That kid gave his all everytime out and I would always hear fans just dogging him out. I loved watching that guy play the game.

This is always my answer to this question.

Just stirring the pot: Jackson Vroman anyone???

I would most likely say Pearson, or Marcus Jefferson. Both lunch pail type players and both fun to watch.

Edit: Kantrail Horton was awesome.

I agree that over all, it's probably Horton. ESPN Classic showed the "it's just another gym" game a few months back, and I realized how he's gotten lost in the shuffle over a time a little. I loved him back then and still love how he played the game.

That said, out of the guys on that list, I voted for Staple. Maybe it was his atrocious free throw shooting, but he doesn't get a lot of credit around here for being an anchor for that '05 NCAA run. He could bang down low on the boards, and was responsible for A LOT of 2nd chance points, and timely defensive stops. We haven't been the same since him and Homan graduated.

I am going to say Curtis Stinson.

Dude was an absolute warrior for ISU. But he was routinely ripped up and down on the message boards for his perceived selfish play. Guy just wanted the rock in his hand when a big play was needed. I can respect that.

Shame he and Blalock weren't smart enough to return for their senior year. Don't know if they got bad advice, had a family/money situation, etc; but would have liked to have seen him get a better opportunity to succeed.

Anyone hated by KU fans like Tinsley and Stinson is OK in my book.
