I haven't lived many places and I don't hate any of them.
I have, however, traveled extensively for work over the years. I hate, hate, hate Pittsuburgh and basically the entire state of PA. In Iowa, I dislike western Iowa a lot---sorry to all of you that live there!
So how is western Iowa all that different than eastern Iowa?In Iowa, I dislike western Iowa a lot---sorry to all of you that live there!

1) 208 Stanton Avenue. Its no longer there, but the place was a dump and it smelled like an Oriental Kitchen...but hey it was cheap....
2) Wilson Hall - the guy to girl ratio was horrendus.
3) In the hood in Cedar Rapids in the 80's. Fighting was a way of life. Theft was common, plus the City Smelled bad except on Captain Crunch days, I love Captain Crunch.
Best place- where I live - West Des Moines, safe, comfortable, good schools for the kids
FYI -- A chemical engineer once told me that there was no such thing as Captain Crunch day in Cedar Rapids. The smell had some completely other cause.
