Re: Poll: Can message boards play a factor into a potential recruit coming to Iowa St
Yes message boards play a factor. Playing for a school is a complex decision for the athelete and parents. They would be fools not to look at everything and measure the quality of the program. Are message boards the sole decision whether or not, probably no, just another straw. However, a message board is like a billboard that you drive by daily. The more you drive by, you either like or dislike the product more. You may like the coaches the campus the profs, then once you get home the feeling become less over time. So you reach out to channels that are affliated to that school and one of those are mesage boards. So when the kid and family are reaching out for information to the school, most of what they see here is negativity in an imature and speculative based hear-say manner, much of the time.
Thankfully we have ownership on this site that is trying to provide freedom and yet request respect in message.
