Interesting and very lawyer like twist to the interpretation - if the 4 (or 5 with Mizzou) Big XII schools take in 6 MWC schools, you could technically meet the requirement that 6 of the schools have played together for the last 5 years and the TV contracts and BCS standing could still be in place - awfully tempting if that would play out and you're an MWC member.

That could be very plausible. Wyoming brings NOTHING to the table. The heavyweights of the MWC could shed the lightweights and the revamped Big XII could work on establishing their own network for a future revenue stream.

The MWC conference will never cut Wyoming loose. That would kill some long standing rivalries.

You are correct though. They don't really bring much to the table.

Just like Colorado and Nebraska leaving kills long stand rivalries. In this whole shake out rivalries mean nothing.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the current climate is one of not giving two ***** about long standing rivalries, traditions, or any of that.

Yeah been talking about this in another thread. Would love to see a couple surviving Big East schools in there as well. Would be a nice recruiting footprint. Still have Texas somewhat a little west coast and also a presence east of the Mississippi.

The key is the league not disbanding which apparently a simple majority is only needed to disband in which case the conference is gone. No exit penalties no logo rights, nothing.

This right here.

All of the old rules, especially honesty and decency, are out the window. We are to the point where it is pirate law.

Get what you can, give nothing back. Hopefully GG and JP have hoisted the colors.:jimlad:

I would like to see those teams join the B12. I live in MWC territory. Selfishly I would get to see more games.
