Big East vs. Mountain West

The only concern with the Big East would be it's long-term viability, especially in football. Would we be walking right into a new hornets nest of expansion talks when the SEC and ACC inevitably start to tear at each other? We could be in worse shape 5 years from now.

The Big East, if stable, is by FAR the best option right now.

If the SEC rips the ACC apart, and there are 4 Big 12 teams in the Big East, it's a FAR more stable league than the ACC.

I am a solid supporter of Coach Hoiberg and expect him to succeed in rebuilding Cyclone basketball. But, could you imagine this past season if we had played BB in the Big East. (laughingstock would be spelled in capitol letters.)
