You can post information in any manner you chose but the notion that this information is "premium" is absurd. Other sites get information based on public relationships. It is hardly "premium". The notion of someone obtainig this information then packaging it as "premium" and charging for it is criminal. In the end I guess if peeps are stoopid enough to pay for it so be it. But don't restrict my right to post this information as well.

I think that is the difference here. If someone gets the information from a public or personal source, my understanding is that it is ok to post it here. If you got the information from a "premium" board that charges for its content, then it is not ok to post it here. Providing breaking news is how they stay in business.

Personally, I don't pay for the rivals board and such because I don't mind waiting for it to be publicly announced.

I suppose you work for free? From your statement above, obviously you believe it should be illegal to accept money for a service that one produces and sells to a customer.

Can we keep this thread on topic discussing a new commitment?

Imho, if you want to discuss the logistics and relationship between CR and CF then start a new thread and have it.

Not much to discuss until we actually know who it is.

There are plenty of stories/ info that Chris Williams or other members have posted before 'premium' sites.

CF has taken the stance to not allow other info from paid sites unless it is common knowledge.

I am in the same boat as yourself, I don't any longer have a paid subscription and wait for info to come out. I can wait and extra hour if needed to safe my extra income to go to ISU athletics and not a pay site.

So why was Jared Brakens, a 6'1-2" 205 safety not more heavily recruited?

Why is he under the radar type and what do the cyclone peeps know about him as a future player?

If the numbers on Brackens are close to right (6'1" 198 4.45 40), this could turn out to be one sweet pickup!

Welcome aboard!

Nice, solid build for a DB. Love the early commits. It's a good indicator that our coaches are getting their first choices.
