Some great news out of that article on Cyclones.com. FYI, it is a great article, everyone should read it.
Jake McDonough is 289 right now, and Rump is at 290. That would be a couple legit interior defensive linemen. Yancy mentions that both kids are still only 19. Allot of potential in those two. Maybe this is why the staff hasn't been after as many D linemen as most of us thought they should have been.
Darks is up to 196. That's great news for our WR group. I see him as another RJ Sumrall.
Burris is 6'7", and 293. Yancy calls him our most athletic offensive lineman.
Lattimer and Neal have had some great gains, good news for the DE group. Parker is quickly returning to form.
Jake Knott sounds like he is going to be a beast. The strength of an interior lineman and the agility of a corner according to Yancy.
LJ and Benton look to both be in great shape, and O'Connell looks good as well. He mentioned that Washington at the safety spot is up to 207. That's some nice size at safety. Look like we are going to be very good and deep in the secondary.
